Professionally, Doug has been involved within the insurance industry for 44 years and is Partner with MGP Insurance Centre Ltd., an independent insurance and financial planning brokerage located in Regina. His insurance experience has been developed from the following business opportunities:
Born in Regina and raised on a small mixed farm in the community of Dilke, Saskatchewan. Doug and partner Leslie have three children and three grandchildren. Doug served on the board of the Regina Optimist Dolphin Swim Club for ten years serving five as President and was board member of the Saskatchewan Water Polo Association five years, two as Vice-President. His volunteer activities are currently practiced through Rotary. He has been an active member of The Rotary Club of Regina Eastview since September 1992, serving the club on several committees and President in 1999 - 2000. During Rotary year 2005 - 2006 he served Rotary District 5550 as Governor. Doug is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and he and Leslie are both Benefactors and charter members of Rotary’s Bequest Society. The Rotary Foundation has become their ‘charity of choice’ and they embrace its great work. Back to List

has been involved within the insurance industry for 35 years and
is a Partner with MGP Insurance Centre Ltd., an independent insurance
brokerage located in Regina. His insurance experience has been developed from the following business opportunities:
Mark has enjoyed many courses and programs including technical, motivational and management & administration during his 35 years in the industry. Mark has served on Industry Committees over the years and is a past member of the General Insurance Council of Saskatchewan. Back to List
Rick has been involved within the insurance industry for 35 years and is a Partner with MGP Insurance Centre Ltd., an independent financial brokerage located in Regina. He
began his financial career with Sherwood Credit Union in 1972. Rick
moved to A focus on life insurance and financial planning saw him obtain his CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and CH.F.C. (Chartered Financial Consultant). Rick is past president of the South Saskatchewan Advocis chapter as well as the CLU Chapter. He also served on Zurich Life’s National Agent Advisory Council. He holds general insurance and life insurance licenses as well as a mutual fund license. Back to List
Bev has recently joined the MGP Insurance team and has an extensive background in the financial services industry beginning her career in 1976, with a focus on customer service. Back to List
Gaylene entered the insurance industry in 2007. She quickly obtained her CAIB I General Insurance license that year. Prior to joining MGP Insurance Centre Ltd. she obtained a Diploma in Business Administration through SIAST and is currently working towards her CAIB designation. Back to List
Sonja entered the insurance industry in 1983, obtaining her general insurance license in 1987 and her AIIC/CIP designation in 1994. Prior to joining MGP Insurance Centre Ltd. in July of 2005, Sonja worked for an insurance company. During her 20 plus years of service she gained invaluable experience in various departments, including claims, finance, as well as underwriting of commercial lines, personal lines and surety. Leanne joined MGP in 2007. She has a Business Certificate and corporate experience in sales, service, and distribution. She specializes in personal lines home and auto insurance, having attained her Level I General Insurance License. Leanne is currently working towards her CAIB designation and she looks forward to helping you with your insurance needs. Back to List
Shawn
has been employed in the insurance industry since 1996, joining
MGP in June of 2002. He specializes in personal lines (home and
auto) and small commercial. A level IV insurance license holder
he is currently working towards his CAIB designation having successfully
completed the first of four exams. Back

Alanna
became involved in the insurance industry in 1998 as a motor license
issuer with MGP Insurance. In 2000, she left the insurance industry
for a short period of time to continue her studies at the University
of Regina. In 2004, she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in
history as well as obtaining her CAIB 1, becoming a licensed insurance
broker. She is currently working towards her CAIB designation. Alanna
recently returned to MGP Insurance in September 2006. Back

Kellie
Katchuk has been employed at MGP Insurance since 2003. Kellie attained
her General Insurance License in 1995 and her C.A.I.B. (Canadian
Accredited Insurance Broker) certification in 1999. After many years
in the General Insurance Industry, she is now working in the Financial
Division at MGP. Kellie received her Securities license in 2006,
and Life Insurance license in 2007. Back
